Chandrika Dasgupta

I was born and raised in Jaipur, India. From an early age, I was interested in business. During my college years, I specialized in Economics and later pursued my MBA from International Management Institute. I have also completed an advanced management course in INSEAD, Singapore.

 I joined the corporate sector post my MBA with the largest bank in India in mortgage sales and soon became the youngest VP heading the departments of Mortgages and Personal Loans.

​

I met my husband during my MBA and together we travelled the world and lived in India, England, Germany and now the US, first in Orlando, Florida and now a proud resident of Westlake for the last 6 years.

​

I have 2 boys, Aryan (age 14) and Arjun (age 10). They are proud students of Westlake Academy and certainly have the Blacksmith spirit! They are involved in the Student Council and Hope Squad and represent the school in Football, Basketball, Athletics, Soccer and Golf.

​

I am so proud of Westlake Academy and have been actively involved with its inner working in multiple capacities, having served as Room Parent for six years, Room Parent Coordinator, Community Director and Vice Speaker of the House of Commons.

​

In addition to devoting my time to Westlake Academy, I also have my own real estate business for the last 20 years with a portfolio of rental and investment properties in the areas of DFW, Florida, Germany and India.

​

As many of you know, I am a proud Westlake resident and I love our town, our green belts and of course, our school dearly. I am committed to preserving Westlake values which attracted us all here and why our town continues to grow. My goal is to be your advocate and be your voice on the Town Council.

 

Together, we can continue to build this amazing town of ours!
