Why Me

​

It is our responsibility to set the foundation to maintain Westlake values that make it such an aspirational town to live in. From balancing sustainable development to preserving our green space, we must all ensure our Westlake values are never compromised. You rightfully expect the highest, cleanest and most transparent governance and I promise to uphold these values at all times.

I have provided examples below of my initiatives and volunteer activities. As you will see, I am truly dedicated to the welfare of the town and school and believe every problem has a solution and it is our responsibility to address them. 

 

I understand many of you choose not to send your children to Westlake Academy which is understandable as every child has different needs and aspirations and I intend to continue having dialogues with you as it will always offer new ideas, perspectives and goals so we can enhance the level of excellence, to enable you to have an even better choice.

I seek your support to elect me to the town council for a new and fresh voice. I promise to protect our community, have your interests first, advocate for our children and always be available for you.

Westlake Academy Parent Representation

  • With 2 boys in PYP and MYP, I have 8 more years of vested interest in the school

  • Hosted a dialogue with the school, town and parents to understand the root cause of attrition of students and teachers leaving Westlake Academy and solutions to address them

  • Petitioned for an accelerated Math program and organized discussions with the school, town and parents to help implement

  • Have been a room parent for the last 6 years helping teachers in various activities 

  • Have been a part of the HOC for the last 4 years as The Room Parent Coordinator, Community Director and currently the Vice Speaker

Education & Experience

  • BS (Economics), MBA (Marketing) and Advanced Management Courses in Statistics

  • Extensive Real estate experience from construction to development to service management across multiple global markets 

  • Have a strong understanding of how real estate development in growing markets enhance property values

  • Multi million dollars budgeting experience 

  • Head of mortgages for a large multinational bank

  • Head of unsecured loans for a large multinational bank

  • Voracious reader

Volunteer Activities

  • Served on the HOA board of Glenwyck for 2 years

  • Fought to preserve the green space behind Glenwyck walls   

  • Organized community activities - Halloween/holiday party/ welcoming new residents

  • Gathered feedback from residents and negotiated solutions to address stakeholder interests while staying in budget​
